「主演の伊藤沙莉さんにとってはいい意味で“試練”になるかもしれません。織田さんが主役を“食っちゃう”ことも十分考えられますから。織田さんもその意気込みで芝居をするはずです」（芸能プロダクション関係者）
織田裕二(55)が７月スタートのドラマ『シッコウ!!～犬と私と執行官』（テレビ朝日系）に出演することが話題となっている。それは主演が織田ではなく、伊藤沙莉(29)であり、織田はあくまで脇役というポジションだからだ。
「裁判の判決で出た差し押さえなどを強制的に執行する執行官である織田と、とある経緯から彼の補助者となってしまった伊藤とのお仕事ものドラマです。
伊藤が演じる主人公は織田から、ある才能を見込まれてバディを組む…というストーリー。織田さんはエンドロールの最後に名前が出る“トメ”というポジションだと思います。格としては主役級という扱いです」（同前）
これまでの織田は主役しか演じて来なかったイメージゆえに、今回彼が明確に脇役に回ったことに驚きの声があがっているのだ。実際、織田が主演以外でドラマに出演するのは’93年の『素晴らしきかな人生』（フジテレビ系）以来、30年ぶりのことだ。
「織田さんが今回のオファーを受けた理由としては、テレビが世帯視聴率からスポンサーが重視する13～49歳の年代をターゲットにしたコア視聴率を重視するようになったことがあげられます。
30代以下の多くは織田さんと言えば“世界陸上の人”のイメージでしょう。さらに俳優も若返りが進む傾向にあり、わざわざ高いギャラを払って大物俳優を起用することが少なくなっているのです」（同前）
