●TVアニメ『るろうに剣心 －明治剣客浪漫譚－』第5弾PV
Ayase（YOASOBI）とR-指定によるコラボ曲「飛天」が7月6日よりフジテレビほかで放送されるアニメ「るろうに剣心 －明治剣客浪漫譚－」のオープニングテーマに決定した。
「るろうに剣心 －明治剣客浪漫譚－」は、和月伸宏による同名マンガを原作としたテレビアニメ。和月自らが全編にわたってキャラクターデザインやシナリオを監修する。
「飛天」はAyaseとR-指定が共同で歌詞を手がけ、Ayaseが作曲を担当した楽曲。YouTubeで公開された同アニメのプロモーション映像第5弾では、この曲の一部を聴くことができる。
◆Ayase コメント
振り返ると常に選択の連続。正しいかどうかをその時の秤にかけて頭を抱える日々。そうして何度もはかり違えたと、後悔や挫折を繰り返す中で増えた傷は、勲章のように思えるものもあれば痛々しく膿んだままのものもある。これらの違いは、その大体が現在の自分の状態との関係の中で変化し、生まれる差異なのかもしれないと、音楽に振り回される生活の中でふと思った瞬間がありました。この気付きさえも10年後の自分からすれば青い考えだと嘲笑されてしまうかもしれないけれども、少なくとも今の僕にできることは、目の前の選択が正しいかどうかではなく、選んだ先で少しでもこの傷を愛しく思えるように、がむしゃらに戦い続けることだけだろうと、思い至った一つの決意を書き殴った歌です。きっと、こんな心の内を歌に乗せてさらけ出したくなったのは、守るべきものの為に戦い続ける剣心の姿を見たからだと思います。
