台湾人が違和感を語ったあの餃子の食べかた。日本ではよく見かけますが…。
26日放送の『月曜から夜ふかし』（日本テレビ系）のインタビューでは、台湾人が語った「日本人の餃子の食べかた」が話題に。
そこでfumumu編集部では、実際に現地出身のかたに話を聞いてみました。
「川辺で個人的ニュースを聞いてみた件」と題した今回、番組では河川敷にいた台湾出身の女性二人にインタビューを実施。
来日7年目だという女性は「日本人は餃子とご飯を一緒に食べている」と日本では多くの人がやる食べかたについて「慣れない」とコメント。一方、来日4年目の女性は「台湾は餃子だけを食べるか、ご飯だけを食べる」そうで、「ふたつとも主食だから、一緒にはできない」と話し、調査していたスタッフを驚かせます。
「餃子として生まれてきて、でもおかずとして食べられるのが悲しい」と語る台湾人女性。「餃子がかわいそうじゃないですか…」と率直な意見を述べ、スタジオの笑いを誘いました。
放送後、この一幕に「私は日本に来て9年目、ようやく餃子と白米を一緒に食べられるようになった」「餃子とご飯の話、うちの台湾人母もよく言ってる」といった声が。そのほか「面白いなー餃子は主食なのか」「餃子がかわいそうは初めて聞いたな」といったコメントが続々と集まりました。
編集部では、この件について日本在住の台湾人・Airiさんに話を聞いてみました。
すると「やらないね！」「餃子は主食の一種でご飯と一緒に食べない（笑）」とやはりしないよう。餃子定食なども日本独特のもののようで、ご飯と食べないかわりに「台湾では一気に餃子を10個～20個頼んじゃう」と大量に頼むスタイルで満腹になるといいます。
また日本では餃子との組み合わせでビール…も人気ですが、台湾では「安い餃子専門店でサクッと食べるか、持ち帰りで食べるか」というスタイルが多いそうで「お酒を飲みながらはあまり多くないかも！ あるはあるけど」とも話していました。今回の放送には「餃子とご飯で食べるのはまあ日本だけよね…」「餃子がかわいそう（笑）確かに（笑）」と納得する声のほか「ご飯と一緒に食ったらうまいぜえ」と推奨する声も見受けられます。
